FLP Streamlining Training Task Force by Sandralee Scott The first conference call was Nov. 15th, 2006. There was a brief background on streamlining, list of training issues and role of the task force. Additional employees selected as members are: Michael Arnold, FLM - MO Cinnamon Berry, FLS - WI Brian Hartman, FLS - MN David Laster, FLC - GA Denise Quinn, PT - NY Niki Chavez, Senior Loan Officer - National Office Micael Cumpton, Senior Loan Officer, National Office Orlando Kilcrease, Senior Loan Officer - National Office Chuck Ropp, Senior Loan Officer - National Office JoAnn Haviland, Kathleen Bellis and Dave Meyers - Human Technology The Role of the task force will be to help the National office determine: training topics methods of delivering training who needs to be trained priority for training based on job descriptions for program delivery when training needs to commence need for testing (understanding issues covered) documenting training received I can get input from associations, office, state, but I need to consolidate comments and submit. The documents I review can't be shared throughout the state as they will be "draft" items. Some questions that will be addressed at the next conference will be: What topics and issues need to be covered in the training? What method of delivery to use (computer baud, net conference, etc)? Do we need to very employee training? Should training include testing/certificate? The next conference call is December 15th. __________________________________________________________________ We have now had our third conference call with the FLP Streamlining Training Task Force as of 12/15/2006. Our mission is to assist in the design and development of training that will be provided to field offices when we implement the direct loan portion of FLP streamlining. We discussed multiple training options, implementation of streamlining changes; how to train and where, use of exercises and/or testing; how to maintain record of individual’s training. We reviewed a revised streamlining training plan that had been developed showing the task and training methods by priorities.
