Todd Burke, Chief FCAO arranged a tour for NASE at the Aerial Photography Field Office (APFO) on the final day
of the Convention. For lack of better words the tour was totally awesome! The employees were so
accommodating. We had the opportunity to see and touch their work, experience the 3-D maps, spin through the
“dark room”, walk through the 10,000 sq feet climate controlled storage room filled with canisters of film, check out
the computer applications they work with and so so much more! The office has loads of untapped areas. They
have asked NASE to help find ways to enhance APFO; to tap into their resources and use them to assist our
customers. We will be asking your assistance in the coming months. We thank Todd Burke for taking time out of
his schedule and arranging transportation for NASE to have this outstanding opportunity.
